1950s Holland Mold Ceramic Christmas Tree with Star Base. Hand made antique in a white minty green with silver glitter. Unique mid century coloring and star shaped base. It does not have a lot of plastic light bulbs but still lights up beautifully. Some bulbs are glued in and some are not. The base is not marked with the Holland Mold trademark, so I think this is a very early 1950's piece. The Holland Mold Company (1946 to 1997) was a mold-making business. These vintage molds that are no longer in production. Measures: 14" T x 10" at the widest. Base 5" T to top of socket x 9" star shape. Perfect medium size tree. Has the original wiring with a non-polarized plug. 6'5" cord in pliable condition. The light push switch works and comes with a light bulb. Very good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age. One small skim chip on base edge and light paint loss where tree sits. No other chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. Weight 6 lbs. 15 oz.
