A hard-to-find early printing of this beloved science fiction masterpiece, the first in the series. Original red boards (pre-brown/burgundy).Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve, showing rubbing/scuffing, shelf wear (chipping, creasing, small tears). Faint liquid staining on jacket spine bottom. Sun fading to jacket spine. Boards are straight and clean with bumped corners/spine ends. Dent to top edge of front board.
